Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – MEPCO Group celebrated the successful conclusion of the first edition of the MEPCO Group Innovation Competition 2026, an initiative launched to empower employees to transform their ideas into practical initiatives that advance operational efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
The competition attracted 34 employees from 20 departments, who submitted 53 innovative initiatives across several strategic areas, including AI and digital transformation, energy and cost efficiency, predictive and smart operations, production and manufacturing, sustainability and recycling, safety and risk management, operational excellence, and shared services and synergies.
During a ceremony held at the MEPCO factory in Jeddah, the Group announced Eng. Ayman Ahmed Taha Ahmed as the first-place winner, recognizing his innovative initiative and its expected impact on operational efficiency and productivity. MEPCO Group also honored all participants with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their valuable ideas and contributions to the success of the competition’s first edition. The competition reflects MEPCO Group’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and empowering its employees to develop practical solutions that create sustainable impact, enhance the Group’s operations, and strengthen its competitiveness.
