Progress continues to achieve strong progress in the execution of PM5, the Group’s transformational expansion project that represents a defining industrial milestone for the Middle East and reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading regional manufacturing hub.The latest project developments reflect significant advancement across engineering, procurement, and construction phases, demonstrating MEPCO’s commitment to delivering a world-class industrial expansion project aligned with the highest operational and technological standards.
Engineering progress has now reached 95%, supported by strong collaboration across stakeholders and project teams. The project also achieved several key execution milestones, including the finalization of the MEI installation contract and the approval of anchor bolt installation within the PM building wire section, reflecting continued momentum across critical construction activities.
Civil construction activities continue progressing across multiple operational blocks, with overall civil progress reaching 29%.
In parallel with construction progress, PM5 continues to demonstrate outstanding safety performance, achieving more than 404,000 man-hours without any Lost Time Incident (LTI), reinforcing MEPCO’s strong commitment to operational excellence and safety culture.
