WASCO, a subsidiary of MEPCO Group, continues to strengthen its role in the waste management and recycling sector through active industry engagement. WASCO successfully participated in IFAT Saudi Arabia, a premier exhibition for environmental technologies and waste management solutions, showcasing its commitment to expanding strategic partnerships and advancing sustainable resource management.
During the event, the WASCO delegation engaged in multiple strategic meetings with industry leaders, technology providers, recycling companies, and potential partners to broaden its professional network, explore innovative waste management and recycling solutions, and identify new opportunities with clients and suppliers. A key highlight was the signing of a cooperation agreement with Creative Recycling World Factory, under the supervision of the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), to supply approximately 600 tons of PET plastic materials per month to Bareeq Factory, with plans to increase volumes over time to meet operational needs. This partnership supports the circular economy, strengthens the plastic recycling value chain in the Kingdom, and contributes to sustainability objectives and Saudi Vision 2030.
